Top 5 Redheads

Julia Roberts
The hooker-with-the heart of gold that went from a blonde, wig-wearing prostitute to a redheaded, curly-haired pretty woman. With her larger-than-life smile, unique laugh and beautiful eyes, she is one of the world’s most loved actresses. Actually . . . her real hair colour is dark blonde, but it’s the red hair that made her famous and the red haired Julia that’s adored.

Marcia Cross
Known for her portrayals of Bree Hodge in Desperate Housewives, there is nothing desperate about this porcelain faced, redhead when it comes to style, hairdos and fashion. Marcia wears her hair in sleek and straight styles, ponytails and often opts for a dramatic look with individually defined curls. Mother of twins, Marcia says she is nothing like her television character.

Nicole Kidman
This seductive Australian redhead started out her career with a head of frizzy hair in the Days of Thunder era. Nicole has changed hair styles more often than Madonna’s changed accents and has been sporting straight blonde hair a lot lately. Her natural hair is light red with curls.

Lindsay Lohan
Actress, model, and pop singer.
Lohan is well known on the celebrity party scene and her personal life has been a frequent subject of celebrity and tabloid journalism. Her long hair is always soft, sexy and stylish whether it is casually pulled back or dressed up and curled.

Marylin Monroe
Marilyn was blonde as a young girl, her hair turned a reddish chestnut in her teenage years. In 1946 she was convinced by the head of her modelling agency that blondes got more modelling jobs and looked better in pictures, so over a period of a few weeks she transformed to one of the ditzy blondes of all time.

Did You Know . . .
Last year Lindsay Lohan recreated Marilyn Monroe’s famous and very revealing “Last Sitting” photographs for New York magazine. In 1962, photographer
Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn that have come to be known as
“The Last Sitting.” Forty-six years later, Stern revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan.
